What age is Invisalign First for?
It’s designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12, when they have a mix of baby and permanent teeth.
Will my child be able to handle wearing aligners?
Absolutely! Most children adapt very quickly. The aligners are removable, making eating and brushing easy, and we give lots of encouragement and simple tips to help them succeed.
How is it different from adult Invisalign?
Great question! Invisalign First™ is specially designed for growing mouths. It accounts for emerging permanent teeth and can help guide jaw development, not just straighten teeth.
Does it hurt?
Your child may feel mild pressure for a day or two when starting a new set of aligners, which is a sign they’re working! It’s typically much more comfortable than metal braces.
What happens after treatment?
We’ll monitor their smile as they grow. Sometimes, a second phase of treatment is needed in the teen years, but the foundation we build now makes that easier and often shorter.
